The Miss Universe Canada organization congratulated Callingbull on Instagram, stating that she is the first married woman over 28 to win the title.

Callingbull has made history in various ways, including winning Mrs. Universe in 2015 and modeling for Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit edition in 2022.

She is also an actress, model, activist, and host for various sports leagues.

During her Q&A segment, Callingbull highlighted the issues faced by Indigenous women and called for the government to prioritize equal resources for women.

She plans to represent Canada in this year's Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.
