Utoo Radio with Other News Sources - May 29, 2024 - Winnipeg is preparing to launch a new community patrol group called "Morgan's Warriors" led by Indigenous women and family members of Morgan Harris, who was one of the four women killed by serial killer Jeremy Skibicki.

The group aims to use the grief they feel to create community change and empower women.

Kirstin Witwicki, Harris' cousin, and Melissa Robinson are spearheading the group, which plans to walk the streets, hand out food, and conduct wellness checks.

The group is known for its strong frontline volunteer presence in vulnerable areas, with many volunteers having lived experiences.
