Utoo Radio with Other News Sources - September 23, 2024 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have unveiled their new Indigenous logo, designed by Chris Chipak from Red Pheasant Cree Nation.

The logo, featuring a buffalo, feathers, and a ribbon-like skyline, conveys deep cultural meaning and promotes healing, hope, and inclusion.

The logo was inspired by the Treaty 4 flag and represents the spirit of the Saskatchewan Prairies.

The logo will be displayed throughout the stadium and on players' helmets.

The logo will also be available for pre-order in the Rider Store.

Players will wear orange warmup jerseys featuring the name 'Saskatchewan Roughriders' in Cree syllabics for the third season in a row.

All jerseys will be raffled off by the Saskatchewan Roughriders Foundation, with funds going to Indigenous programming.
