Utoo Radio with Other News Sources, October 22 2024 - King Charles's historic address to Australia's Parliament House was disrupted by Indigenous senator Lidia Thorpe, who accused him of "committing genocide against our people".

Thorpe, an advocate for Indigenous rights, demanded the return of her land and the destruction of her people.

The King and Queen have faced several protests during their visit to Australia, where the country remains the only Commonwealth country without a treaty with its Indigenous people.

The protest has been criticized by former Prime Minister Tony Abbott, who called it "unfortunate political exhibitionism."
