Utoo Radio with Other News Sources - November13, 2024 - Collège Boréal in Sudbury has opened the Shkode "Heart of Fire" Pavilion, a 2,000-square-foot space that serves as a central hub for the college's First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Educational Centre.

The pavilion offers workspaces, meeting rooms, and a smudging circle for traditional ceremonies.

Construction cost nearly $1.3 million and reflects the college's commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's calls to action.

The pavilion is a gathering place for students, faculty, staff, and the broader community.
