Utoo Radio with Other News Sources - January 9, 2025 - The Northwest Territories is seeking applicants for the Mentor-Apprentice Program, which pairs fluent Indigenous language speakers with learners.

The program aims to help apprentices live life in their language, spending five to seven hours per week with their mentor.

The program is open to learners of all levels and is funded by the Government of the Northwest Territories and their Indigenous government.

The program has been successful, with apprentices becoming mentors three years in a row.
